On the flip side, I mean, he just lost to Shawn Porter. He lose to Shawn Porter, then you fight for a world title right after that, for a vacant title; you and your opponent coming off losses.

I mean, me as a fighter, if I lost a fight, there's no way in hell that my next fight I would be fighting for a title against another guy that's coming off a loss. I wouldn't even be proud or consider myself a champion. What makes that worse is they took the guy to your hometown to fight after you complained and bytched about getting beat on an even playing field.
Like I said before, I wouldn't even be proud to say that I'm a champion.

I like Paulie Malignaggi, and the fight between you and Paulie Malignaggi was tit for tat. And then the first guy you fought for a world title, once again, it was in your hometown.

Now, normally....yes, he would've been the youngest to accomplish this feat at 24 years old, compared to Broner's 26 years old. The reason he isn't? The WBO wasn't recognized by ANY of the major organizations (WBA, WBC, IBF) until 2001.


Being that's the case, Oscar's 1st 2 divisional belts don't count if we're gonna be factual, and instead...he's a 3 division Champion.

I honestly believe his friendship with Floyd has partly derailed his career. Yes adrien has made many many mistakes himself but i believe him being friends with floyd made him want to emulate floyd way too much. I also cant blame Adrien for being salty that floyd wanted him to fight Theophane. Seems to me Floyd has tried to use him for the benefit of his team in the past. Adrien would be a much bigger fighter had he stayed away from that friendship
