Being an MMA fan, I don't agree with Floyd statement that Mcgregors popularity is due to racism because he is not universally loved. And Mayweather hatred stems from the domestic violence. But that statement by McGregor So fukking stupid.

Breh, while domestic violence plays a role in Mayweather hate, to limit the hate he recieves as a result of domestic violence is naive to say the least. Ali wasnt universally loved during his hey day, and only recieved the admiration he does now after his accomplishments in the ring were solidified. Black Muslim, unapolagetically pro Black, unapologetically not interested in warring with the Vietamise, etc., and was hated on back then. To say Mayweather is hated on strictly over domestic violence in light of the past year's media coverage of race related incidents and the public divide over those incidents, is again quite naive at the least and disingenuous at worst.

Also Floyd didnt say Conor's success and popularitu was rooted in racism, but that there's an obvious and blatant double standard. It's the very reason so many whites want boxing to be surpassed by MMA.
