Even with that being said, I wonder who's gonna do all the leg work Golden Boy does for any of Floyd's fights. There's so much that goes into an actual Promotion that Floyd has yet to experience that (as a full fledged Promoter).

i remember watching the fight intros and seeing a few people i never saw in floyd entourage before. im like who the fuk is the new guys and thought leonard was probably sitting ringside. floyd always talk that loyalty shyt but before garcia was wrapping his hands he had problems with them damn near ever fight. 
why change what got you to where you at today?
if floyd didn't even know he was defending the 154 and 147 titles, to me that is a bad fukking sign. something little as that you don't know about, just tells me there's alot of "other" shyt behind the scenes he don't know that leonard was doing as well. all this changing in his camp better be for the good.

Bruce Binkow has found a new home in rapid fashion. On June 14th it was announced that Binkow parted ways with Golden Boy Promotions. Binkow joined Golden Boy in 2007 as Chief Marketing Officer and became the Chief Operating Officer in 2013. Golden Boy is going through a major restructuring of their company. Binkow and Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer were the two biggest departures from Golden Boy in June - with Deputy COO Armando Gaytan, Executive Vice President Raul Jaimes, Vice President of Marketing Nicole Sparks and Executive Assistant Nicole Becerra being the other staffers who are no longer under the Golden Boy banner. Following Schaefer's departure from Golden Boy, Floyd Mayweather Jr. made it know that his company would begin to branch out on their own. They often used Golden Boy's promotional license to stage their events.
Mayweather Promotions CEO, Leonard Ellerbe, confirmed to scribe David Mayo of Mlive that Binkow was hired by his company as a consultant. Ellerbe is also in the final stages of obtaining a promotional license from the New York State Athletic Commission - a move that is fueling high speculation that Mayweather is potentially going to fight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. "I have a bunch of fighters, I have to keep them busy, and I have to be in the position to do their fights in a bunch of different states," Ellerbe said. Ellerbe also refused to confirm that Marcos Maidana would become Mayweather's opponent for September 13th. "We're in conversations relative to the next fight," Ellerbe said. "That's it. That's my quote. When we're done with those conversations, we'll make an announcement to the public.

That sucks. I've always associated Garcia and Ellerbe with Floyd
Floyd still offered to pay Rafael but i guess it was a pride issue that hopefully can be fixed...he needs him in that corner, and i'm sure it doesn't hurt even if it doesn't help his Latino fanbase. Ellerbe leaving will be interesting, because the little things he does I doubt Floyd will have time to do.
