The fighters have aged, they're going to slow down a bit. That's a given. Manny should be 4-1 in his last five anyway. So he got KTFO out by Marquez. Okay, he's been had losses since the initial Floyd vs Manny talks way back then. You talking charity, lol, who cares what fighters make what. When we talk about about past boxing greats or bouts or rivalries we could give a fukk about who made what. We know 50/50 is not going to happen regardless, but we're just debating because people act like Pac isn't worth 50% on paper.

As for PPV vs non-Manny opponents, I'll give Floyd that he's a better salesman. Its always more interesting with a face vs heel bout than face vs face. Bottom line, the boxing world has been waiting for a Floyd vs Manny showdown, all these fights in between are just because they have to stay active and stay paid. With out both these guys careers panning out like it did, there is no superfight. Manny put in his own work, just as Floyd did his.

the first time manny didnt want to take random additional testing= HIS FAULT
the second time floyd did not want to work with bob arum cause of the coward campagin and the suing, and wanted the fight directly with pacquaio; which was hard to do. at the same time, pacquaio said 50/50 or nothin and arum was talking dumb shyts about cuts and building stadiums. In my opinion = BOTH AT FAULT
the third time is right now, We'll see how it plays out but so far we hearing about pacquaio turning down 40 mil with 35 percent back end when he hasnt made anything near that in his life

The Undefeated White Champion vs the Undefeated Black Cocky Champion Boxer is a CLASSIC rivalry (just like PRs vs Mexicans) and would have definitely done more than 300k. Let's not kid ourselves here


Mike Tyson vs Peter McNeely did 1.55 million on PPV all the way back in 1995 because of it


Now, I know that McNeely wasnt undefeated and Tyson was back out of prison for his 1st fight, but even a washed up Tyson vs an already 4x defeated Kevin McBride did 250K. No way would Floyd Mayweather vs Chris Algieri had done 300K or slightly better in 2014 with all this white cops killing black people stuff going on....no way.
