Not gonna read this ..but argentines are Latin not really by race but Latin by nationality..you can be Latin even if u don't have any mestizo in you just by being from Latin America even if you're white..now Buerno Aires the city in Argentina is the most white city in all of South America,,.thats where my family is from..lotta Spanish descendants and Italians over there..mestizos mostly outside of that city in the country side of Argentina called gauchos who are cowboys that wrangle cattle and cook the best BBQ meat in the world :ohlawd:

Do you're self a favor and stop by a argentine grill and order steak and sausages and if they have sweet bread(BBQ cow intestines ) get that too:ohlawd:

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
What is all this extra shyt? :mjlol: Coming from a fat philipino fukk pretending to be black? :pachaha:

An argentine is . . .argentinian, can you read? Where did i say Argentinians are a race? :mjlol: And for that matter, since when have spaniards been a race of people? :dead:
Maybe Maidana's ancestors 500 years ago were spanish :yeshrug: You on the other hand, are dumb as fukk:mjlol: . Like i said earlier, engage your shyt for brains before you type and it will save you from repeated embarrasment :snoop:

Ill try and get your dumb ass back on topic - explain to everyone what relevance cinco de mayo has to the "spanish" people of argentina :mjlol:

BTW how come you still aint coming at me with them links with all that shyt youve been claiming as "fact"? :sas2:

Argentinian is not a race or ethnic group, its a nationality...

When I say spanish, im referring to Spanish speaking people of latin decent.. which is what Maidana is.. Thats his ethnicity

mexican independence day and cinco de mayo have virtually nothing to do with people from argentina
and the date had little to no impact on floyd's fight numbers with maidana
seriously,stop

:snoop:
if he fought amir khan or a tim bradley instead of maidana on those dates he still woulda generated similar numbers if not more because they are more known than maidana
it more than just the holiday, its a following of boxing fans that know mayweather fights annually on these weekends
i actually been there to that environment and i seen people from england, canada and all other the us come there for the fight and a lot of them were mayweather supporters
a solid mexican figher will obviously help. but without one, hes still gonna push close to milly
god your dumb :snoop:

That doesn't even make sense if you really think about it.

Why would an Argentinian celebrate the day Mexico got Independence? :dwillhuh:

Do Americans celebrate British holidays because we are a English speaking country?:dahell:

You're basically saying that Puerto Ricans should celebrate Mexican Independence Day and Cinco De Mayo because they speak Spanish too even though they have different customs/culture:heh:

You nikkas keep bringing up nationalities when im talking about race/ethnic groups.. I never said shyt about an Argentine celebrating Mexican independence day.. Mexicans are a huge target market.. So on Cinco De Mayo, when they see a Spanish speaking Latino like Maidana is gonna fight Floydie, they are gonna support Maidana including the gang of Spanish speaking Mexicans or latinos that they throw on the undercard

Why has Top Rank/HBO not tried to counter program cinco de mayo with a Pac fight? I mean, they obv dont care about PPV numbers, and would benefit them by cutting Floyds numbers down according to their team :mjpls:

HAve to say I agree with the man on that one though. I ain't Jamaican, but I'll watch Usain Bolt run and likely root for him too against any other runner on the field. Not vehemently with hatred towards anybody else, but I'll definately be a little bit biased to support him at most, and to watch him at the least. Granted he's transcended race and ethnicity in place of his abilities, much like Tiger Woods who I'll still watch and be a little bit biased towards. That's not always the case as I go out of my way to be fair for personal reasons. It ain't a given that just because a Brother and Another are competing with one another that I'm going to always support my own. If it comes down to Tom Brady going against any QB, black or not, I'm riding with NE.

Still though, as you already know, with the exception of Soccer and the Olympics, Boxing is likely the most ethnically and nationalistically polarizing sport or exhibition to attract die-hard fans and casuals. It goes without saying that an Argentinian and a Mexican are two completely different people, but NOT THAT by that much. Especially when it comes to one of the two fighting an undefeated African American boxer who markets himself by being bragadocious and cocky. Latinos from all backgrounds want to see someone shut the Pinche Mayate up. They don't care who exactly amongst their Latino brethren does it, just as long as someone does it, or at least tries.. Mayweather knows this, which is why he had people wearing Mexicans love Mayweather tee shirts on during the promotion leading up the last event almost as a cynical jesture to reality of things. During either the first promotional event or the second, (I can't remember) Maidana even said Mayweather was going to feel some "Latino power". That wasn't a slip of the tongue when he said that. They know what they're doing and who they're targeting. So in that sense, Black Jesus is on point in my opinion.
