Breh, if TMT/Mayweather promotions has a footprint in the UAE :wow: I think he should jump on this venture if its true. That would be a great place in the world to clean up on that oil money and start his promotional career. They would probably love that showboating style of American boxers

of course he doesn't want the fight.

he want the money...that's why it was perfect to wait until the end of his career. He mad most of his money off that "0". However, during that time he pick risk/reward fighters. He could have lost to Cotto but the risk/reward was there. Could have lost to Canelo ..same thing. He could have lost 4 years ago to Pacman - but the risk/reward wasn't there. He loses to Pacman, Pacman doesn't give him a rematch and now Pac can make money on bullshyt fights (which he's been doing anyway) while Mayweather instantly loses alot of his appeal.

Floyd ain't fighting him outside of Vegas though...

That 0 is just as valuable to Floyd as the money...

You would have a point here if:

1) The only reason Mayweather/ Pacquaio didn't happen in '09 is because Pacquiao refused to take a random steroid test without a cutoff...

2) The only reason the fight didn't happen in 2012 is because Bob claimed Pacquaio's cut took 10 months to heal and he needed to build a new stadium...

if he really wanted the fight on #1, he would have ignored that but I get it. I think the timing now is just optimal moreso for Floyd. Regardless of the nuances leading up to it.
