I might get some flack for this, but fukk it. He's a Jew, he's a boxing promoter, and he's an old man. Any one of those three aspects of him by themself wouldn't mean anything, but in boxing for all three to be present it's pretty much a given that he's a pain in the azz.

reminds me of this quote on Arum by Tex Cobb,
"Don King is like everybody else in boxing. He’s a liar, a thief, a murderer and a racketeer. And a con man. But there ain’t anybody as bad as Bob Arum. That New York City Jew lawyer will make you hate city folks, Jews, and lawyers in the same day.”

Oscar De La Hoya gives his 2 Cents on the negotiations and Floyd Mayweather:

"It's not easy to challenge yourself. It's very difficult. It's scary. I've been waiting for this fight for seven years and it's just a fight. Take it. Sign it. This opportunity is never, ever going to happen again. [Mayweather being afraid to lose] is the last excuse that I can think about [on why he won't fight Pacquiao]. Being afraid to lose - but who isn't? Fighters like Manny Pacquiao and fighters like Felix Trinidad and the greats of this great sport were never afraid to lose," De La Hoya told BoxingScene.com

"It's just a shame that the fight fans will never get a chance to watch two great fighters at their peak [face each other] ever again. This fight should have taken place seven years ago. It's never too late, but I really do hope it happens very soon."

mayweather makes this fight happen theres just too much pressure on him (even though its not his fault) to make it happen. i think the cotto rumors were bullshyt maybe if cotto wasn't with roach i would believe it but like iv'e said before no way he gets in the way of history and his friend (manny) dream fight and robs the boxing world of this.. he probably pulled out of the canelo talks because oscar and canelo were so gun-ho about that may 2nd date which is stupid if mayweather/pacquioa is happening..... lets keep our fingers crossed :sadcam: notice oscar recently said that canelo's options were kirkland, bradley & cotto still :sas2:

Exactly...this is point of no return and realize Floyd doesn't mind being hated so all this is just creating more buzz. Example, this article says Floyd signs next week http://www.boxingnews24.com/2015/01/floyd-mayweather-jr-to-sign-contract-by-next-week/ .It's purely opinion, but it makes sense....I believe we get it, enough so that i'm booked already:takedat:

:what:

Oscar is the last person about ducking.

He was told the fight was a wrap so he coasted the rounds.

Oscar went to PR and had dinner in titos house in talks about the rematch.

Fight didn't happen cuz of money.. Oscar wanted the bigger cut.

Tito was the one that couldn't take defeat and retired like some bytch.

Idk why Tito fans act like he dominated oscar in which reality shows oscar put on a boxing clinic and is still considered a robbery not just by boxing fans but by experts to this day.. His corner made a mistake by telling him the fight was a wrap.

Oscar was the cash cow and still deserved to be the ASide.. We are talking about oscar who would draw in crazy numbers.

At the end of the day I would have loved for there to have been a rematch but it didn't happen.
