I think for the broadcasting part, it will be done the same way it was done for Lewis/Tyson: take one from each network, have them call the PPV version, then the winning network wins the rights to re-broadcast it with their own guys.

My personal picks would be: Jim Lampley/Paulie Malignaggi (PPV), Mauro/Bernstein/Tarver (Sho re-broadcast) and Bob Papa/Max/Roy (HBO re-broadcast). A case can be made for Lamps/Bern for the PPV instead of Lamps/Paulie, but I really like Paulie's skills as color guy/analyst, so I wouldn't mind the meeting of the minds of two different generations with him and Lamps.

Also, if (hopefully, WHEN) this gets done, it will be the first boxing PPV I would have ordered SINCE Floyd/Oscar, and that's saying something.
Paulie is pretty god, but I feel like he goes out his way to diss Floyd sometimes. Other than that he's a good analyst

:childplease: jim lampley is utter garbage as a analyst
He's gotten worse since Merchant left.
:deadmanny:

still the most cringe worthy moment from a sports announcer. shyt made the whole broadcast awkward as fukk

:laff:
Al is mad underrated, never really shows any bias, doesn't take himself seriously and calls it like he sees it. :obama:

Nothing compares to larry merchant though :wow: he's long, boring, analogies that had nothing to do with the fight :mjlol: somehow comparing some bear in the fukkin woods to what's happening in the ring :dead:
I can't stand Bernstein.

Views From The X
Larry Merchant had some great lines

"About a half-million dollars will go to Tony Tubbs after all of his expenses. I figured out that's about 100,000 quarts of ice cream....or a shrimp salad in Japan."

"Brewster gotta start working the body more.” “Why, Roy? Wlad has a glass chin, not a glass body."

"To say Michael Grant has a glass jaw is an insult to glass.”

let it out man

Floyd's stopping this fight. Well his demands anyway. I spent a lot of time supporting him, so know that I'm not saying this on some pactard hating shyt.

Floyd wants this on SHO exclusively with a 75-25 split. Which just isn't going to happen. Espinoza and HBO Sports have come to a verbal agreement that both of the networks with air the fight, and Arum/ Pac want 60-40 AT LEAST. Also, Floyd wants an immediate rematch clause, which Pac/Arum aren't guaranteeing.

So for the first time (in my opinion) Floyd is actually the reason this fight isn't happening. Every other time throughout this rivalry, I had it 50/50 for Floyd and Arum/Pac. And most of the time, I had it mostly Arum's fault

This time around it'll be on Floyd if it doesn't happen.
