I'm trying not to get anybodies hopes up, I have nothing concrete that's why I didn't post anything...

I work in the financial sector, I had lunch the week before Christmas with a very high profile investor who is a big boxing head and good friend of mine...He doesn't have connections to Floyd, Haymon or TR but he does know Les Moonves on professional and personal level...He is very optimistic the fight is happening saying Les always gets what he wants and he wants this fight...He anticipates an announcement around the super bowl...

I trust him but I'm still pessimistic...

Has your friend gotten any info concerning HBO and Showtime. Will it be a joint production (ala Lewis/Tyson), or will it solely on one network?

Didn't ask about that breh because we pretty much know the answer to that question...

Floyd has a contract with Showtime and TR/Manny with HBO so it has to be joint like Tyson/Lewis...

I know that Showtime really was unhappy with how that fight was handled though, they felt they got screwed...
