He said a mouthful. Funny how he said Ward signed with a new company and gave him credit and then said his own company can't take a loss. Basically insinuated that signing Ward was a bad move for a promotional company, and then went beyond insinuation and validated what we're already thinking he meant by saying he'd sign Broner over Ward. Shots fired at Jigga? He is a Haymon acolyte.
You can tell he adores his children. While it doesn't make up for or excuse his domestic behavior, it's still nice to see how much pride he has about his kids. Admirable to be fair.

Nah, he showed love to SOG and big upped his skills. He also said he'd take Ward over GGG if they ever fought.
He spoke on and said as a promotional company, that as great as Ward is in the ring, he'd rather have Adrien Broner, because the company wouldn't take a loss as far as revenue/tickets/sales vs Ward. I would counter with he's taking losses with everyone on TMT compared to AB though...until you consider the pay Ward requires vs the TMT Roster
So I agree with Floyd, but I believe Ward could be built up by a great promoter who can promote for him like the team of Floyd/Ellerbe/Haymon.

Ward could REALLY be the alternative version of Floyd...taking it back to the wholesome Sugar Ray Leonard days. People just don't wanna take the chance in this era.

Why? He represents and stands for everything that everyone hates about Floyd. And, he's widely considered the 2nd best Boxer on the planet skill wise and is undefeated. Why can't he be marketed as an Anti-Floyd (Alternative version) like Sugar Ray Leonard was in the 80s? And he's mixed, heavily religious, a former Gold Medalist in the Olympics, no outside the ring drama ever attached to him ...he could reach alot of people.
Floyd has never had anyone good enough to promote though. Give him a great fighter, I guarantee that guy blows up. As wack as the TMT Roster is, he's gotten Ishe Smith/Mickey Bey/Badou Jack all title shots (with 2 of the 3 winning and Jack is getting his opportunity in less than 3 weeks). That's big shyt.
Floyd/Ellerbe/Haymon would turn Ward into a big star if he was with them. They would handle his promoting and he would handle everyone in the ring. Perfect match imo.

IDK if it'd work out as a perfect match. But I do agree Floyd could do well if the talent was already seasoned for him.

I agree that Floyd/Haymon rub would get Ward over with the casuals. shyt whenever I talk to coworkers or at the bar about boxing these cats swear up and down that Mayweather promotes AB and that's the reason they root against him/watch his fights.
bytch niikas that duck fights get no love in the Haymon dominated 2015....All the fighting skills in the world means nothing if u are afraid to fight the best, and truthfully as a fan how can you stand by a so called fighter who dont have the balls to actually fight, those things clash with eachother and in 2015 when the best fighter in the last 25 year's fought champ and number 1 fighters time after time and still got villified, nobody gets a pass anymore.....mayweather and Haymon has forced these hating nikkas to be consistent, lets see if Khan and Ward can conform
