Floyd Mayweather final fight in September. Who gets the nod to get the big pay day with Floyd?

He needs to stay away from risky Thurman

I would say Khan

Garcia is too easy , but that might be whats needed for this farewell fight
If I were Mayweather I would fight some young up and comer, short-change him on the returns...retire with a damn near 300 million dollar payday...

Either Kell or Khan would do big numbers with the UK PPV.
I don't know the Manny Pacquiao PPV numbers yet, but I would assume that if he fights Khan...it could come close to that number again because of all the UK interest.

i don't wanna see a rematch with cotto or pacquaio

danny still got hererra/peterson problems, he aint gettin the floyd fight. especially considering floyd already said peterson was robbed. floyd gonna need a big name since cotto/canelo is already set. I can't see anybody out here that could help floyd beat cotto/canelo in a ppv battle.

It doesn't really matter what problems Garcia has. If Mayweather is looking to have a farewell fight, he probably has no interest in a grueling fight. That's what your not looking at.

This september fight couldve been huge and Khan fukked up big time. If Khan/Brook happened May 30 at wembley in front of 90,000 fans the hype wouldve been there. the winner wouldve got Floyd and that pretty much would be a guaranteed 1million UK PPV buys from the UK, plus probably 10k Brits going over to vegas for that soccer style atmosphere. Hatton took 30K brits over to vegas when he fought Floyd. 30 fukking thousands fans flew from england to vegas to see hatton :whoo::dwillhuh:

Floyd Hatton back in 07 did like over a million on UK ppv at 4am UK time (think it did like 1.2million, and hatton ended up making more on the backend that floyd because floyd didnt negotiate for any UK revenue). This is pretty much why floyd was talking about a Ricky hatton rematch, then talked about a Matthew Hatton fight for a while after :mjlol:

that's if you actually believe september will be floyd's last fight. as much as floyd loves money, common sense will tell you it won't be. there's too much money in a fight where floyd can surpass rocky marciano. floyd is not passing that up no matter what he says right now. floyd might take a softer touch next but it won't be because it's a farewell fight, it will be to set up the real farewell fight for may. which I believe will be against khan.

Regardless what Floyd decides, I think there is a high chance Garcia may be his next opponent.

Yeah, I myself think Floyd purposely had the contract end at a possible 49-0 so he can re-negotiate for the 50-0 fight which I think will be Khan as well.

Virgil Hunter says he has inside information that Floyd might not fight in September, his final fight might be in November or December

don't wanna go up against canelo:mjpls:....pac was the only guy he could fight who could overpower canelo vs cotto. It's possible he could still beat out canelo/cotto with a khan or thurman fight, but how many ppv buys would they sacrifice. just aint worth it.
