They dont even know how much providing health care will actually cost their business; this is just childishness over their candidate biting the dust, and saltiness over not getting their hands on those ADDITIONAL tax cuts they were lusting over. We're not talking about tax hikes, when it comes to an Obama led changing of the tax code, but an ELIMINATION of the Bush era tax cuts.

I think a business is completely justified to be worried about upcoming changes in their cost of doing business.

However, they need to know what those amounts are and every implication of it before they do shyt like this. This reeks of republican grandstanding.

You know how much Papa Johns would have to raise his pizza price to "afford" Obama care? .14 cents.

they're just making a show a very immature one

what we need is to start boycotting the businesses that come out and make these stupid comments, not to drive them out of business but rather to scare the rest from this bullshyt

A lot of businesses are hiring a fukkton of part-time employees so they don't even need many full time employees that they have to cover healthcare wise too.

Am I the only one who finds it fukked up that people want to profit off of healthcare? I mean, how do you make a profit without 1. NOT covering people or 2. Charging outrageous prices for everything? IMO it should be a not-for-profit type deal.

Thats whats so frustrating about "Obamacare", and why progressives like myself want to kick Obama in his a$$. Republicans are positioning the ACA as a socialist plot, when its really its a pro-business oriented, give-a-way to the health industry to supply a more stable base of customers w/o sufficiently addressing runaway costs. We all wanted a public option to provide a true alternative and drive down costs.

Anybody that is caught raising prices because of Obamacare should have there tax credits revoked when it comes time. That would shut a lot of these selfish fukks up.

Yes I agree without the public option the teeth of that act are gone but he set a foundation and thats more than any President in history. Keep in mind the Republicans forced him to cut the public option out. Obama may be able to make that provision in the future but it is still better than what we got.

I don't mind paying a lot bit more so people can have a decent wage and benefits.

I just don't like this healthcare bill man. It has a lot of positives but this just lines the pockets of health insurance companies and businesses.

fukk this a$$hole though.

Actually, if you look at the progression of the debate a few years ago, you find people like Rahm Emmanuel telling people to "ignore the progressives" on this issue. And because of Obama's alliances (especially in regard to IP. A cursory look at the Office of the US Trade Rep's Special 301 Reports and the whole ACTA debate of the time could've told you everything you needed to know about how that bill was going to come out), there was really no hope of a public option coming through.

If I remember correctly, Bernie Sanders actually had a single payer option bill drafted, which got scuttled immediately. Naturally, his "progressive" caucusmates did nothing to support him.
