lol@'bigotry'. That dude is an old school gorilla and did what he was supposed to do. That's why kids are growing up so soft these days... no father in the picture and some of these mothers pushing insanity onto their kids. Since when was it ok to let your baby boy dress up in girl's clothing? Well, in this sick, modern society, just about anything but the right thing is permissible.

That dude was a idiot and should have just let that little kid cook. Growing up happy and soft is two different things friend. Not having a father doesnt play any role in a child sexual orientation, thats like saying any man that has long hair is a fakkit cause its women qualities. Its not like his mom made him wear the shyt, little man liked the pink so he rocked and as he grow older he might not even be gay and come into being his own man. Surpassing a child's happiness and imagination is much more dangerous and costly than just letting him be happy.

Sick modern society? Breh this goes back so far its not even funny, its only until now Religious institutes deem such actions as evil.

Who are we to judge? You shouldnt base a man's strength, honor and manhood on what he feels comfortable wearing.

He is letting that kid cook. Cook as a man should. In fact, he's letting that kid grill. He's putting that kid on the right path of throwing some steaks on the grill instead of being in the kitchen twerking in some high heels. Naw, I ain't going to cosign or soften my stance. If a man is in the house and he's letting his son dress up as prom queen, he ain't doing his role right. If his son was 18 and decided to dress up in some stilettos and a jersey dress, then what can he do? But the role of a parent is to GUIDE their child, not to enable them.

Thats the problem with parents in todays world. They fail to teach their boys to be men, then get mad at other MEN doing it for them

She's on some new age nonsense which is gonna leave her with a very confused child. This is the time they form there thoughts and opinions, and she is giving the kid no structure. I would have gave that redneck dap as he walked away.

As I said before, man hood shouldnt be based on what you feel comfortable wearing. You acting like he can't do any of the shyt you just mention cause he like the color pink. Your stance is being based on stuff that's neutral when it comes to sexual orientation. Grilling, steaks, that stuff doesnt have a official label saying men only, woman do it all the time. You all upset cause he had on a pink head band, so automatically he's gonna twerking in the kitchen? Thats nonsense breh. If a father ask his son what he wanna wear and he picks a dress, the father should explain that to him its for women and if the lil guy wanna wear than fine, he's a kid. Now some lines need to be drawn in the sand when it comes to teaching a boy how to be a man, but clothing isnt one of them. Not when you had some warriors feeling comfortable in women clothing and vice versa for women in men clothing, but couldnt be touch on the battlefield and was very well respected. Clothes are nothing,

Its gonna be up to the child to really decide after you teach them the difference. No need to emotional scar a kid based on what he wants to wear.

Let them kids cook and eat how they want, Gotta stop judging folks/

The kid had a pink scrunchy in his hair and was waving like a 'pageant prince' according to the mother. more like a princess... and she lets him wear her dresses at home. If clothing is nothing, I dare you to go to work tomorrow in a dress.and with some lipstick on.

soon and far as lipstick, I have no desire to wear that. Now I dare any man in this thread to question my manhood since this is consider a dress by some standards

I during my time at pepsi I ran into some guy that dresses like a woman every friday and buys soda from my route, A first I thought it was a father that failed his son, but it turns out he was a retired Green beret that had 5 combat tours and over 20 confirm kills and has a wife. This is what the police officer told me when I cracked a joke about the guy. Now I dare any man question his manhood.

I just find it crazy that we can judge men' man hood based off of clothes.

2 year old having fun with clothes, oh no the horror. Seems like he's having a good childhood, compare to one that may be beaten or scolded by so- called parents just cause of clothes.

By far the most viral story of this past weekend is Florida mommyblogger Katie Vyktoriah's terrifying tale of bigotry encountered at a local Walmart.

The 31-year-old Davenport mother of two, who writes about her family life on AMotherThing.com, recounted an exchange with a surly burly homophobe who manhandled her two-year-old son, allegedly for wearing a "feminine" headband, before hurling anti-gay epithets at the toddler.

It all started with a recent trip to by Text-Enhance">Walmart, which Katie says Dexter did not particularly want to take, especially without his favorite "lace flower headband."

A few things you should know about Dexter: He is gregarious, happy-go-lucky, loves Dora the Explorer, and his favorite color is pink.

So Dexter and his mom are wandering around the superstore's aisles, and people are coming out of the woodwork to compliment the boy on his choice of headgear.

"The fact that he was wearing a cute girly headband made him feel good, and he was charming all the old ladies by waving like a little pageant prince," Katie recalled in a blog post entitled "Getting Political."

But just as they were getting ready to check out, things suddenly took a very ugly turn.

Katie says the incident occurred after a pair of teen girls asked her through giggles if her child was "a boy or a girl."

After she happily responded "he's a boy," a man within earshot suddenly roared "THAT'S a BOY?!"

Katie describes the patron as "very large with a bushy beard and a camouflage shirt with the arms cut off."

His lace-up by Text-Enhance">work boots had no laces, and "the fug of cigarette smoke" and "pong of beer" surrounded him.

Katie replied affirmatively, prompting the man to rip the headband off Dexter and, after lightly slapping the boy on his head, tell him "you'll thank me later, little man."

Her maternal instincts kicking in, Katie moved in front of Dexter to shield him, before telling the man "If you touch my son again, I will cut your damn hands off."

To which he responded: "Your son is a fukking fakkit. He'll get shot for it one day."

Katie notes that, despite an abundance of eyewitnesses, not one shopper volunteered support or consolation.

She writes:

[My husband] Mark and I are both completely supportive of love in all forms. Be you gay, straight, bisexual, transsexual or polygamous, it is YOUR by Text-Enhance">business. I don't judge, and I don't try and change you.

And if one or both of my kids grow up to realize they are any of these things, it will not change a thing about how I feel toward them.

But right now, the fact that homophobia is so rampant, that by Text-Enhance">gay marriage is still seen as dirty because homosexuals are "lesser" somehow and don't deserve to have the same rights as straight folk, that people like that man in Walmart even EXIST makes me fear for my kids and their futures.

While we may accept and support whoever our kids turn out to be, I am scared beyond words at what it would mean for them if they ARE gay. Why should anyone have to live in fear because they fall in love with someone that you or someone else doesn't agree with? Why should mothers and fathers of gay kids have to have an extra layer of terror at night because they know that the world at large is against their child?

On Facebook, Katie says she has contacted the Polk County Sheriff's Office and the "ongoing harassment" was documented and is currently being investigated.
