You know something I often wonder this myself. When i ask "christian" GOP members how they reconcile their damn near contempt for the poor and those in need of charity the conversation usually takes on tangents completely unrelated to the actual gospel. It's sad really. For those who do listen and pay attention they usually walk away a little more liberal. For those who don't the focus is usually on abortion and gay rights. Quite literally THOSE TWO ISSUES dupe more Christians than any other issues.
