Abbott signed the Texas executive order that deems gender affirming care as potential child abuse. He may not have bloodlust for it, but he is just as willing to play culture wars as anybody.

Walt Disney worked out a deal with the state, back in the late 60's (1968 I believe) .. and part of the deal was to let Disney govern themselves. It's been that way since then. Reedy Creek has their own everything. Fire station, hospital, they build and repair their own roads, they outsource their police department etc.

Disney got that deal because the land the park is on was 15 miles from anywhere. No utilities, police, services, roads, nothing. Disney developed the whole thing and has their own electrical plant. FL didn't want to spend the money.

Just the other day.. motherfukker tried to change Florida law in the middle of the night.. hoping that nobody would find out. I’m not sure what it’s called, but it’s written into law that a politician can only hold one position in office. Whether it’s city, state or federal. Well we all k ow this knockoff Hitler wants all the power, so he filed an amendment that would allow him to run for president, while being governor of Florida still. And if he were to lose the presidency, he’d continue in Florida. And if he’d win, he’d be the one to appoint the new governor.
