As far as ROE and Force Protection standards go, had this been an airman assigned to Security Forces..... he'd have been charged with murder already. cause it definitely doesn't meet reasons to employ deadly force.
It’s crazy because you have to be the perfect victim to get any type of justice.
Had this dude had a couple speeding tickets the media / narrative would have been justified to slant his character.However everyone comments that he was an outstanding member of the military.

No new information. I think the next big thing to drop will be when the Florida Department of Law Enforcement finishes their investigation. I am sure they are double and triple checking everything because they know there are a lot of eyes on this. DoD is definitly putting pressure on them to get this right. I would also wager that AFOSI is also running their own case jointly with the FBI. Because of the status of Fortson, They can't brush this under the rug. DoD would have no problems moving the units to another base if their airmen are getting assassinated. The amount of money DoD puts into that town is huge. This guy is going to get sacrificed. There is no other option. Yes its taking longer, but they want this to be airtight.
The Air Force owns alot of land over there, they are not leaving over a shooting.
