They took away wet foot, dry foot. Not tried.exactly. Dude says it has zero to do with policies. LOL. Lots of them voted Obama in 2012. They also hold grudges for Obama trying to take away the wet foot dry foot law
Cubans’ beef with the Dems trails back to Kennedy and the Bay of Pigs. It has zero to do with policies.

Ron DeSantis Says Florida Can’t ‘Monkey This Up’ by Electing His African American Rival
Ron DeSantis Says Florida Can’t ‘Monkey This Up’ by Electing His African American Rival
Florida gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis did an interview with Fox News on Wednesday where he used a questionable choice of words when talking about his Democratic opponent, Andrew Gillum.
As DeSantis spoke to Sandra Smith about how he secured the Republican Party nomination last night, he was asked how he plans to beat Gillum now that they’re about to go head-to-head. Since the Tallahassee mayor is campaigning on progressive policies with support from Bernie Sanders, DeSantis acknowledged Gillum as an “articulate spokesman for those far left views” who moved forward with more charisma than other candidates in the democratic primaries.
Shortly after that, DeSantis made a comment that may or may not have something to do with the fact that Gillum is trying to become Florida’s first African-American governor:
We have to work hard to make sure we continue Florida going in a good direction. Let’s build off the success of Governor Scott. The last thing we need to do is to monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda with huge tax increases and bankrupting the state. That is not going to work, that’s not going to be good for Florida”
So what do we think? Were DeSantis’ remarks racist or was this just a case of poor phrasing? You choose.
UPDATE 11:13 a.m.: A spokesperson for DeSantis denied his comments had anything to do with race:
DeSantis’ spox tells me this is something the congressman says “frequently” to express something that was messed up or not done right.
Spox says it “had nothing to do with race or anything like that” but just talking about the situation in Florida. #FLGOVSteve Morris on Twitter
