I liked the end end, not the part prior to it though lol but I thought they closed it of well.

The Spanish broad was nice but the white girl was fine too.

Looking back at Denzel's 5 last movies, Safe House (haven't seen it but going to this week), Unstoppable (looks terrible), Book of Eli (same as previous), Pelham 123 (was ok), The Great Debaters (this was ok). Correct me if I'm wrong with any of the statements.

Before that was American Gangster which I think is the last great role he did. Just curious, for the recent garbage roles, did he get 20 mill contracts like Will Smith?

Great Debators was great imo. Yeah denzel is 15-20 mill a film. I think Will gets 20-30 mill plus a percentage though

I just finished it, and I have to say, it was a great movie.

I enjoyed it from start to finish. Some parts had me like :win: and some had me crossing my arms.

If you know anyone that's battled addiction, Denzel played this role amazingly, and the way that it was written was PERFECT.

:wow: when he grabbed the bottle off the fridge in the hotel room.

The soundtrack was pure alcoholic too.

And +1 to everyone raving about the Goodman scenes, he was great as well.

Good movie, good acting, expected more of a dramatic climax/ending but it was still cool for what it was. Not a must-see, but a should-see.

I'll never understand why they interjected that pointless love story into the film. :mindblown:

I think it had to do with the theme of "gods plan" that kept popping up. But I agree with you the relationship didn't realy serve to improve the movie. It should have been left out or they should have done more with it.
