His mother had died and he just didn't give a fukk........obviously it rubbed off on his feelings at the time based on how the game dikkrode jay (BET straight up had a show called The Blueprint, Angie was a known Jay-Z dikkrider, they let Jay-Z put prodigy on the summer jam screen but wouldn't let NaS lynch a Jay-Z doll so he decided not to do SummerJam and just spazzed out).....I think by the time God Son dropped in December NaS had chilled out.
