Hell, I even provided the mathematical equation that anyone here can work out on a calculator for themselves and calculate the distance they should be able to see before an object disappears from view over the horizon.​

H = r - r cos (s/2r)

H = height
r = radius of Earth
s = arc length

.....This is why you see objects in the distance.​

Anyone saying anything else is just full of shyt and using a formula that calculates a parabola, not a sphere, and that formula comes from the late 19th Century.​

So, that covers travel from east to west, but what happens when you travel South? At that point you would have to reach the edge of the earth, right?

Also, I’m not sure if there is a universal layout of the flat earth map, but that would also suggest that countries in the southern “hemisphere” we believe to be much closer to each other are actually very far apart. But a flight from Chile to Australia is about 13 hours while a flight from Spain to Australia is about 20 hours. According to the flat earth map I just googled, that doesn’t make any sense considering Europe is much closer to Australia on that map.

You don't have to trust his logic when there are, literally, thousands of photos of the Earth from space showing what shape it is from multiple, independent sources all over the world.

If he does answer you, ask him to provide mathematical evidence to back-up his observation since distances on a Flat Earth are supposed to be the same as on the actual one even though the lines of latitude and longitude used to calculate those distances can't possibly be the same the further South you go from the North Pole.......

We know how to calculate distances using trigonometry. I doubt he can considering he can't understand basic geometry.
