Also Hornets and Wizards will both be in the running for the #1 in 2026 so youre going back for the same thing to happen again next year....does he go back for his junior year then ?

ii think that you think he is some kinda cornerstone or great player but he really isnt.
he's an injury prone chucker who doesnt make his teammates better

As I was watching him last night I thought to myself how thankful I was I don't have to watch him play for the Wolves every night and convince myself that I like him.

Ugliest game in the NBA.

The money from the NIL and staying the extra year wouldn't make up for the money he'd lose out on delaying his NBA free agency especially with the cap continuing to rise.

It makes no financial sense.

if he has any type of financial advisor on his team, no one would ever advise to spend another year at duke vs being the #1 overall pick. that's dumb as hell.

Sign up to be the 4th pick brehs :patrice: This is an uninformed and silly take.

1- From next year’s class, AJ Dybansta has been seen as just as generational as Flagg. And now Daryn Peterson is actually getting pushed ahead of him. That boy is smooth af. And then you got Nate Ament who’s the next KD clone. If I had to guess I think it’d go AJ-Peterson-Flagg.
:what: At this rate I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the Mavs. And they’d be without Luka, AD, and Kyrie. And won’t have a boatload of picks. I
Good point. There's really no reason in the world to stay another year when you're the #1 pick. Maybe if you're on a super stacked squad that's favored to win a national championship. Even then, aint shyt guaranteed. Health included. A chip would be nice...but Duke would just as much love to have a #1 pick on their resume. Either way I can't wait for the Draft Lottery in May.

Only way Dallas gettin that pick is the ol' "Cold Envelope." Which they deserve for doing what's right for the league and gifting Luka to the Lakers.
