Some good things in FL Studio.

Lot of hits have been made with it but I never really liked the work flow.

I like Logic Pro with some AU synths and a MPC one.

This here.

The work flow is an issue. A lot of indie artists cop it, and then try to bring their work to the studio and they're lost. It's not the kinda DAW that really allows for learning while working. So people come in, but they can't function in the studio because they haven't been able to get a grip on the basics to either collaborate or work seamlessly in other settings. That's why most of us have never been fans of it. It limits you.

Exactly.

One of does this at a certain level, one of us doesn't.

I was speaking to dude about his specific situation. Your opinion wasn't needed.
I literally have my own recording studio. Do u make beats? Are u an engineer? What do u do? He asked if it was as good as Pro Tools. I told him it depends on what he’s doing. Pro Tools is better for recording. FL is better for production. Well. More intuitive for production anyway. Best bet would be to have BOTH.

I know 2,492 people in NYC alone who have their own "studios".

And I'm not try'na talk reckless, but I've made a living off music since the 90's. A lot of classics. I'm not gonna spend time debating with nobody on this sh*t. We're in here talking shop. Take that bickering thing you do all day someplace else. Not the time for that.

PROTOOLS FOR VOCALS

LOGIC FOR BEATS

This right here.

But I would actually say that Logic caught up with Pro Tools, for vocals, over the past 7-8 years. You can run Logic with Xvox Pro now, and get a vocal cleaner than a MF, and not even have to bother with PT. The gap doesn't even exist anymore.

As some said...it depends what you are using it for. Recording...vocal mixing...mastering...beat making.

i would say don't listen to people trying to downplay FL. It is a very powerful Daw that can do it all. Its pretty user friendly for new producers...but trust...it still requires alot of learning. I use it and love it. And with frequent updates, it's usually ahead of the curve with its added features. Cloud VSTs and presets, AI mastering...Stem Splitting...etc.

nikka u mad annoying sometimes and u always coming with some wild ass takes. Like Pop Smoke wasn’t poppin in NYC before he died. Or that Jim Jones was some type of enforcer. Then other times u be right. I dont care where u been. U don’t DO this shyt. U don’t know what it’s like to put ur hands on equipment and have to record people. Or make a beat. Or mix and master. Matter fact. I was just politicking with my boy Knice who literally just worked on the new Jim Jones album about this VERY thing. Using DAWs u comfortable with and Cubase vs Pro Tools. He uses Pro Tools by the way. U always “around” some shyt but u don’t actually DO shyt. Move over.

Exactly. Any nikka who try to shyt on FL obviously is going off lack of experience or pure ignorance. Simple and plain. fukkin HIT records been made left n right with FL. I’m a nikka that has used all of it. FL, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Cubase, Native Instruments, Analog and Akai. This nikka @Awesome Wells just rambling in this muthafukka.
