FL studio users,,,,is this possible?

Lets say i put a "one file" into track 1 and slice half of it and put one half into track 2 why

is it possible to edit the half on track 2 individually? instead of saving the half and bring it back in as a new name, shyts kinda long tbh

It's possible if you are trying to chop it up, you can always do that in Edison. but like an MPC, or any other equipment you have. The less the amount of memory you insert into wherever you chop, the more precise it is.
