Read between the lines with Falk. This is 2013 and he still salty Zeke stopped him and Stern from having their caste system:
Falk: There was a schism between the agents and the union. That was fomented by Isiah [Thomas] when he was the president of the union. Isiah was an anti-agent person. I guess he had bad relationships with his own agents. Isiah was a great player and I don’t think they did a very good job negotiating deals that reflected his talent on the floor. And so he was extremely negative toward the agents. It almost developed like instead of being a two-front war between the league and the players, it was a three-front war between the league, the union, and the agents. And the league knew it. The league knew there was a complete divide with the agents. Amongst the agent group, let’s face it, it’s a cutthroat business. I was in a very strong position at that time. We represented the cream of the crop, so there was a tremendous level of jealousy. [Turner Sports did not respond to an interview request for Isiah Thomas.]

A lot of the articles I read back in the day aren't available, but some people have written books you can search and some stuff is on Wiki. But most of the hate for Zeke is business. Stern sabotaged the CBA because he didn't want to do business with Isiah. He lowballed Isiah with an offer to buy it and when Zeke said no, Stern announced the NBDL, making the CBA moot. No one expected Stern to form a minor league system because he refused to do it for his entire tenure, despite Coach John Thompson, dikk Vitale, Coach K and many others saying the NBA should have a minor league system.

was just listening to Ethan Strauss podcast and they went in on the bullshyt of the Jordan doc about as hard as you did. The guest was a big SuperSonics fan and he was saying he didn’t even realize how much fluff it was until they got to that Sonics series and he Cuban B’d Gary Payton. They called bullshyt on that baseball body shyt to Chile Grape his 95 loss to the Magic and how the doc didn’t bother to mention that Horance Grant and Nick Anderson got hurt in the 96 playoff series, while the Bulls added Rodman. Instead, it was all about how he changed his body back to an “nba body” and that’s why they swept.
