I hit on it on our pod this week and my man James y’all about it on his and I take his word cause he played there, still tied in and don’t BS (starts at 17 min mark)

1. Coaching staff (particularly Taggs) does have some blame and not above it either. Too nice and that may be his downfall. Boosters got candidates like Mark Stoops and Richt they really want to bring in cause they’re buddy buddy
2. Need to fire DC cause he literally has no idea what he is doing. Has never ran a 3-4 in his life. Old Steelers DC LaBeau offered to come in and show him how to run it and he declined.
2. The original coaches he wanted all got low balled by boosters. Goes into Clemson has 24 coaches/GAs on staff compared to our 12. Leavitt wanted 2 GAs for ea position coach but boosters shot it down cause they’re cheap. They eventually had to lift the cap on coordinator coaches
3. Handcuffed since we’re so close to the gpa threshold to where Jimbo left a bunch of guys who can’t be forced out and he gave freedom to not go to class. So he benches them and they transfer, gpa gets fukked and lose scholarships and bowl bans.
4. The same thing that forced Jimbo to rollout (minus the flirting with diff schools every off season) is the same thing hamstringing Taggs.

TLDR, the AD and boosters being penny pinchers gets you your 5th & 6th choices for hires hence why you get the shyt product you see out there every Saturday. But listen to James pod, he says a lot
