@Basaglia Mosley didn't knock Floyd down. He hit him with a great shot in round 2, but that was it.

And Zab's "knockdown" should have been ruled one because Floyd's glove touched the canvas, but the ref said no.

So he has yet to be knocked down.

Dude's defense is dodgy, and he just a come forward style of fighter. Canelo also hasnt fought anyone and has serious conditioning issues.

yea, the kid seems to be shot after the 5th or 6th round. he's very active early, and i think his power is a bit suspect anyway.

i don't think he can beat Floyd at all.

I think Floyd beats him rather easily.

Oddly, the dude I have a slight feeling could give Floyd serious fits is Austin Trout at 154. That fight will never happen tho.

Like I said, all things being equal, Floyd whoops his ass. However Floyd is 35 and would be 36 when/if that fight ever happens, and you NEVER know when a fighter will turn old in the ring. Some will even argue that Floyd fought Cotto the way he did not to please fans - the same shyt people were saying Roy did in his first fight with Tarver - but he did it out of necessity because he's slowing down. I don't agree, but you never know.

And if Floyd is slowing down, Alvarez is exactly the type of fighter that can exploit that.

boxing segment was pretty good. Floyd should just do 2 or 3 more big payday fights and retire. I definitely don't want to see what happened to Roy happen to him.

the difference between Floyd/Cotto and Tarver/RJJ is that people thought Tarver won the first fight. Also Tarver has a history with RJJ and knew how to beat him since he did it before.

Only the angriest Floyd hater thought Cotto won that fight. And Floyd had a cold during fight week.

I think Floyd is getting older, thats clear, but Canelo dont have the tools to do it. He has poor conditioning and really hasnt beaten anyone worthwhile. Alvarez dont will come out early and get the crowd hype because of a wild swing, but by Round 5 or 6, Floyd will be controlling that fight in the pocket and pot shoting.

There is a reason why Oscar be like whenever Canelo vs Floyd is mentioned. Canelo is just not ready for that and Oscar dont want to lose a cash cow so early.
