man, like i said, kyrie off the table...i'm disgusted dudes going in on Jennings, Jrue and Conley (and now RUSSY!) to prop up john fukkin wall.

they think that 16 and 8 was masterful, dude. nygga be havin the ball ALL GAME....EVERY POSSESSION. big deal.

:mindblown:

I haven't gotten that far but nikkas is dissing on Sabo?

No one saying 16 and 8 is great. What I am saying is its hard for a point guard to do anything when you got idiots (Javale), heist box (Young), and sloths (Dray) it hard as fukk. Even Kyrie got better pieces than him last year and still couldn't get 8 assists a game.

right...because a 2.5 assist difference is THE ONLY difference you have in wall's favor in that comparison...and he got that playing 6 more minutes per game than kyrie and having the ball ALL THE TIME. kyrie doing what he did last year and what he doing this year in the Princeton offense with no shooters and bigs who can't catch and finish consistently. so, why you wanna have the conversation so bad? kyrie bring the ball up, hands it off and runs a curl trying to get open...because that's what byron wants. wall gets the ball and KEEPS IT and tries to find an open teammate. because, after all, what is john wall without the ball in his hands? pure ASS.

i keep seeing this "better playmaker" narrative in this comparison and it's such a pathetic grasping at straws. because wall averaged 8 dimes? well, damn...pop some bottles, he jose calderon.

Wall NEEDS to step up this year but I won't write him off. If he was playing for the Knge I wouldn't write dude off. I would rather he play this year first before I make the statement that he can't improve.

anyone CAN improve. i've just seen no evidence that leads me to believe he will. people have had time to scout him too? :pachaha:

The best scorer Lawson has had was Melo for 50 games. Other than it's a bunch of decent but not very good scoring options. Iggy, Nene, Black Boy Fly, and Gallinari.

man, he had melo for 2 and half seasons...c'mon. just because he couldn't beat out andre miller for the starting spot that don't mean he ain't have melo.

all this talk about teammates is a big ass diversion anyway. skillsets are skillsets are skillsets. there is not one thing ty lawson does BETTER than mike conley jr. on the court.

i say they're equals, but for some reason people wanna say ty lawson is clearly better...and they base it on absolutely nothing.

so because ty can't get over the hump and be elite, it MUST be his teammates fault. :russ: nyggas, i swear.

and if wall can be as consistently good as mike conley jr, hitting open shots and controlling tempo, then all his fans should be damn proud. because what he is NOW? nah, he can be so much more than that. he has the ball ALL GAME and only manages 16 and 8? and y'all cysed off that?

when chris paul had the ball ALL GAME in new orleans, he was putting up 23 and 11, 22 and 10...not some damn 16 and 8. now, if wall is truly an ELITE talent, why he ain't put up them kinda numbers?

what, he need david west? :russ:

imma ignore the Wall stuff, but this clearly wrong.

Lawson is a better shooter than Conley.

i disagree. and now that ty been scouted for the clear-out run-as-fast-as-you-can layups, his FG% is dropping. and their threes and FTs are pretty much EQUAL, with ty having a slight advantage in 3 and conley having a small advantage at the line. so if you wanna say with certainty that lawson BETTER...i just disagree...:beli:

and conley a better defender and we know that's true because he just is.

lets see if it stays this low all season

All I know is Conley only had one season shooting 40% with his jumper. Lawson has done that every year of his career.

Its not a small difference either, its like 3-10 percentage points
