Yeah, shyt changed a few years after I left.

I saw phylicia rashad in 96 working at concessions for Phipps Plaza movie theater in Atlanta, during the Olympics. She was weathered then, she didn't have wrinkles but she was 20 or even thirty years old. She was cool and classy as you would expect her to be. But never did I want to sleep with her. that was 16 years ago. Eww.

sidenote: I saw Judge Hatchett at Morehouse commencement in 2006-2007, she looked like a reptile in the face.

Can tko explain to me what makes Money Trees so generic?

And the voicemails were about her making a welfare appointment and his daddy complaining about him losing his dominoes. Not dominos pizza. And it's ten times better than Life Is Good. Its probably one of the better albums in the last 5 yrs but not the best. Too much music out there.

1) the whole respect the shooter/the fallen lives in infamy sentiment shyt has been done to death which most rap topics have been. i guess if it just doesnt jump out at me right away at this point its generic. same goes for the story of the poverty stricken kid that hustles. its not a horrible song, but you could replace jay rock's verse w/ any mausberg or crooked i verse from a decade ago.

2) i could not hear those voicemails again and be happy for the rest of my life. and i cant imagine that anyone else is going to want to hear those interludes and enjoy them like say the earlier wu or death row interludes in 2 months let alone 2 years. i hear that lady every time i go to murrays to buy my chicken wings in bulk. hate her there and on these interludes. no thanks.

3) disagree w/ it being better than life is good. its a decent album though. im still listening. this skyzoo is getting the most run in my rotation though.

real rap... you put me on to the skyzoo cat. album is tough.

the way you feel about this album is the exact same way i feel about Life Is Good. it just didnt stick out. other than Daughters and Bye Baby, every song sounds like something Nas has done before.
