There is a working class in Detroit... it's in transformation at the moment.. the Auto industry that built the mid class in America is still here... and millions are employed by that...
But these investors and funds aren't coming with no infrastructure and working class in mind. Nearly all the abandoned building downtown are being rebuilt. Drive around and you see new developments every where. My neighborhood filled up with young professional educated CAC within a period of 3 years... it's disgusting, minus the hippy hoes.
This isn't an empty movement.
