Fitz is a dual threat with his legs, Cousins can actually throw it deep to Jackson
The Jets ask Fitz to complete more difficult throws on a daily basis, he recognizes and takes advantages of mismatches on the outside.
Cousins has alot of easy throws and can be predictable, Good Corners will jump some of the short routes Washington runs

I know but for what the Jets need as a team he's a good fit. Don't get me wrong I've thought Fitzpatrick was never what I thought he would be when the Bills drafted him. But Chan Gailey has maximized his strengths and covered his weaknesses. He at least keeps the Jets from drafting QB out of desperation for a year or two. Besides 33 is middle of the road for the modern QB.
