good looks, tek. appreciate the listen/feedback.Beat is nice kinda reminds me on something the heatmakerz would have done.. that sample is cold.
props on the listen and feedback, cuzzo. It's not my style of music but it's well produced and has a nice sound. I personally think either a bassline is needed or if it's present and I'm just not hearing it, the volume needs to be turned up some. I think the added hum from the bass would compliment the sound and add more soul.
Thx, Truck Jewelry. Always am humbled when folk take the time out to listen to and comment on one of my creations. Obliged.dope
Thank you for the listen and feedback, fam'a'lam.Dope. Clean as hell mix as well.
Well, firstly, I've been doing this since '99. Secondly, I went to and received a certificate in audio mixing from IAR in New York. And, finally, I use Logic Pro X, which means I import the sample straight into there. No hardware to hardware hiss that I used to get when I was rocking the turntable to Korg Triton setup. (I HATED that buzzing, hissing sound)How the fcuk do you get the sample to sound so clean and clear
I am trying to step up my mixing game...Beats sound 100% better when mixed correctly...
It sounds mastered...Thank you for the listen and feedback, fam'a'lam.

But, yes, I can't stress enough how important mixing is. So much so, that I even sent this to be mastered (the version you hear is pre-mastered).
props on the listen and feedback, cuzzo.
you know, I do have a bass in there but went timid with it in the mix because I wasn't sure if I wanted the bass line from the sample to live, too, or what. I'll have to make a decision on that. good ear, my g.
