Serious question. Have you seen that boy play defense? He's gonna be such a liability unless he makes a major change that they'll barely be able to play him.

Did you only watch the one game vs kentucky? He has good lenth and decent mobility to be good enough in the NBA. Theres not alot of superstar guards that you can say are good on defense, lonzo will be fine.

Especially in the NBA where he will have players and spacing for his type of flashy passing game.

He's stuffing his pocket. Couldn't care less about young Black kids. He married a white woman and raised his kids in the suburbs. He's using this black entrepreneurship shtick as a ploy to sell more shoes.

End of the day, it all depends on how Lonzo plays in the NBA. If he's an all-star level/franchise player the brand can be successful & sustainable. If he isn't that good, people aren't going to be persuaded to buy the shoes/brand

If youre look at it from a consumer perspective sure. I really don't care what he charges. The fact that he can market and charge what he wants for his own product is very different from the athelte/shoe company model we've seen for the past 30+ years.

And we really don't know what the over head is. If BBB wants to lower it to $90 in a year they might still be making money.

You did not read what I said about in general grassroots ideals Nike is exonerated from general scrutiny.

It also has not said in its initial statement nuffin scientifically based to substantiate a wear as a performance shoe.
Which is where lifestyle wearability permeates from in this whole marketplace and industry the ball family would like to revenue grab from with rat hole based intentions.
That lack any real vision for actually crafting a performance shoe that really warrants its price tag as well.
Nor, any actual know how in the web based arena to actually be aware of brand attrition in real life or the digital plane.
Let alone how they relate to one another.
Including being un-proven in to market places as quality products as one a professional basketball player, and two a performance shoe and apparel company with a 500 to high price point.

They would be better off marketing why the price point is so high after an actual name change as a company moving forward.

Different was Shaq and Marbury taking smaller endorsement deals so they can sell affordable shoes to low income kids.
