Black culture is so matriarchal you can’t even see issue with the mother being the outsized center or attention. It’s not suppose to be like that. Put it this way…..Have you ever heard or even seen Peyton Manning’s mother.

You can chalk it up to her not media trained. But the real issue is there was no reason to make it about herself anyway. Bless her heart. I don’t think she meant wrong.
