I watched the Jets game with my old man for the first time in years on Thanksgiving...he called the Sanchez pick 5 seconds before he threw it.

I've been at games for YEARS and have seen this and have been saying this on the boards for years.
I had no clue until I went to games. Jets fans hate gimmicks. Dudes think he's an embarrassment. Jets fans BEEN mad and angry and are tired of getting screwed around by management. They booed Tebow at Yankee stadium knowing he's a gimmick. When it was discovered that management paying him, it sort of makes him a target.
idk. Its a weird spot. DUring the 90's when the Jets stunk he just seemed like another fan. There was never animosity towards him.
He's become too much of a brand. He's an attention whore....but from what I've heard he's a decent guy when you meet him.
The Sanchez jersey seemed political....just stick to the Bruce Harper....thats kind of what made him blend in as another fan.
