It made no sense, the crash and burn last year should have been moving Gay then Lowry, and evaluating whether or not you want to keep DeMar.

This year they should have moved Ross but didn't, right now Masai has really done nothing with this team. He doesn't have the balls to make drastic moves it seems.

The Gay trade was pretty drastic no?

And I'm not sure what trading Ross would have done, at the trade deadline he was playing like arguably the worst rotation guy in the league, not sure what we could have gotten for him. He's improved since then, still not anything special but if they wanna move him in the off season he should have more value than he did at the deadline.

Look at all the players that got moved and what it took to get them and ask yourself if any of them could have helped you. Why will he have more value this summer? He's going to be seeking an extension now.

Who do you think they could have gotten for Ross? They weren't getting past the 2nd round either way so I'm not sure why waiting until his value improved is a bad move.

Now if he does get some sort of ridiculous extension then sure it would be terrible, but I'd say he's more likely to be either moved, sign a reasonable extension or allowed to play out his rookie deal than he is to be offered a bad deal. So we'll see I guess
