Valanciunas' defence is far from atrocious. He's finally learning where to be on the court and the deer in the headlights look is gone. He just needs more minutes, imo. And his offence has come a very long way.

Lowry is worlds better on d than Vasquez, but yeah i would agree they're not good enough to beat the Cavs

PnR that look hasnt gone anywhere,i dont think the defense is that great outside of basic man to man post D...Anything that requires switching,rotating and moving his feet and reading movement from the offense clearly is still a big problem with him...

I agree. But it's still better than it has been. Which isn't saying much, but he's not going to learn by sitting on the bench. He's not a liability anymore, let him play through his mistakes.
