He's been the back up PG all year, this is the first game without Jennings and their only backup at this point is a late second round rookie. Augustin has always been able to score. This really isn't that crazy.

The part that isnt crazy is the raptors allow a back up scrub to have a career night...IM used to seeing it by now...

Today its Augustin tomorrow its CJ Watson next night is Norris Cole...

The epitome of Raptors basketball is allowing back ups and scrubs go for career nights...Its been happening for 20+ years now.

I would bet Augustin doesnt have another 30 point game the rest of the season as a starter...

First 3-game winning streak since mid-December. DeRozan rounding back into form. 30 wins, most ever for a Raptors team before the all-star break. Still feels like a trade of a wing for a big man is needed to even out the roster. Seeing Hansbrough play while James Johnson can't even get in the game seems wrong.

Kings in town tonight, Nik Stauskas representing Sauga in his first game at the ACC. Cousins usually dominates the Raptors so this is far from an easy game.

Him and Casey beefed the first time he was on the Raptors. IIRC it was over Johnson breaking plays in the offense.

I have no idea why this time though, he seemed to be playing the best ball of his career leading up to this last run in the doghouse. Maybe it has something to do with T Ross coming off the bench now and playing the same position as JJ, but even still, that shouldn't have caused JJ to just get thrown to the bushes like this.

It dont matter why,hes our best defender and our best option at 3-4 to be honest..Only one who consistenly scores the ball in the paint.

Team over personal issues and from a team aspect he makes us better and gives us the best shot to win,any other excuse or narrative doesnt matter...
Coach is not putting our best team out there because of petty personal reasons....id like to pound the rock into his fukking head...

Yeah it doesn't make sense, he's played good all year and can defend at least 3 different positions.
There's no on-court reason I can really see for him to be stuck to the bench
