If they can't find a taker for Smith they have to move Monroe.
I believe Monroe can reject the trade and hes a free agent after this season.
i'd actually keep amir starting (assuming we dont offer him as part of the trade) and have monroe in our 2nd unit
but...since Monroe would probably be looking for more $$ than Amir after the season, dont know if its worth the picks to rent Monroe for 3/4 of the year
never thought about Henson
I go back and forth on Amir game to game,when hes bad hes useless...but when hes into the game and engaged hes our most dominant player including Kyle....When he puts up those 23/10 games and defending he looks like a damn all star and he does it against elite opponents..Problem is those next 5 games where hes mediocre and grabbing his ankles....

This team didnt take a step back in a "better" eastern conference it took a leap forward and Kyle according to advance stats is not only an MVP candidate but according to win shares the best player in the east ahead of Lebron right now...
and i dont think they need to push the button on a Monroe deal,Masai gonna wait and see where things stand in February...They 19-6 and 6-3 without a 20PPG scorer no need to make a move now...
That John Henson idea makes so much more sense now with Jabari gone for the season,they might be looking to unload guys second half of the season if they start fading out of playoff contention....

Henson would be great for us cuz our frontcourt lacks the length he would bring. I would definitely not give Detroit Patterson in a trade for Monroe. We can just sign him in the offseason so there's no need to give up a rotation player. We can offer our own first rounder for either of those guys. Next year we're going to have to start working Bruno and Bebe into the rotation anyway.
