Didn't expect a win last night. The first 3 quarters were a pleasant surprise. It is concerning how the offense ground to a halt in the 4th. Very little movement, and everything was on the perimeter. Jonas ending the game shooting 6-for-7 is stupid, he should have had more chances to finish. I put that on Lowry.

Ross made a lot of mistakes, hopefully he'll learn from them. To say he hasn't improved since his rookie season just isn't true. I wouldn't be against flipping him for Jeff Green though.

We've got a light schedule coming up to pad the record a bit before going out West. The Pacers at home on Friday should be a nice bounce-back W.

A lot of ways. Defensive awareness, midrange game, passing, ballhandling, he can actually take dribble handoffs and do something with them now other than immediately fumble the ball away.

Is he elite in any of these areas? No. But he was horrible in his rookie season and has made progress.

remove nerves from the rookie equation and these are all things he could do in college.

Midrange is trash.
Three pointer is inconsistent
Ballhandling trash
Passing isnt noteworthy and his decision making is trash
Defense has regressed, cant seem to check anybody.
Still goes absent in dire moments.

Just get rid of him. Sell high. Cut the cord. I'm sick of that nikka. He might be a good 18 point a game type player but it wont be on this team regardless.


Dude will give you 10 points in the first quarter and help your team get up 20.

And then when the opposition cuts the lead to 8 where is he to be found?

Gimme the dude who can contribute when the game is on the line and in the balance > the dude who can contribute in the opening minutes when it's meaningless. Lou , Vazquez, Amir , Jonas, Lowry, Demar maybe even Patrick have all had games where you can look back and say without him we wouldve taken that L or relinquished the lead.

How many times do you see his man getting wide open shots and 3s...Critical moment in the 4th quarter last night instead of just trying to keep Ky Ky in front of him,he goes for the steal for a breakaway dunk and winds up leading to a wide open jumper that basically gave the Cavs last run momentum.....His defensive awareness has been ass this season......HE has the tools to be a great defender but he has not been that this year...

He has gotten mad lazy too many nights on the defensive end...

He still has too many lapses, I'll agree with that. I think you're forgetting how bad he was in this area as a rookie.

IM not,i just dont see a progression that i should be saying overrall in his game....Lets be reality his shooting percentages being up in 22 games is quite meaningless....Im not seeing the things this team should be wanting to see from him in year 3 as a player...

Im still seeing a shyness to his game,he doesnt get to the line at all and he doesnt drive to the basket....I could careless if his 3 ball % is up slightly its irrelevant long term,thats not the what i wanna see from him...

He has a chance with DD out to start showing these things and were not getting it,hes still very very passive and quick to defer...Even by year 3 you started to see Demar get to the line and his scoring numbers jump...Ross has too many inconsistent nights where he shows up with 18 one night then 6 the next night.....

I want to see him drive the ball and being aggressive,thats the ONLY progression that matters in his game tbh...Thats the one thing that will take him from a bench player/fringe starter to a potential all star calibre player....

He has all the tools but none of the heart to be that guy...
