I'm not proclaiming us to be the giant of the East. We're 15-5 and y'all whine like bytches constantly and show zero support. This is a team that before the season wanted to win 50 games and a round in the playoffs. We are well on track to doing that. Anything beyond that is gravy.
Cavs are coming for that #1 spot and we are missing DeMar. The Cavs are figuring out their roles and on their way to being really good. Losing to them without one of our best players isn't some shameful debacle. LeBron is incredible. They have improved their defense, dialed down Waiters' role and moved the ball from Kyrie's hands to Lebron's early in the shot clock. LeBron came in thinking he was going to play the wing but he's their PG now while Kyrie is essentially playing the 2 on offense. That's the top backcourt in the league, top 3 at worst. Our team's strength being the backcourt, that's a bad matchup for us, even more so without DeRozan.
Vasquez is really showing why he's a bench player on a good team in this stretch. Our transition game is a step behind the elite teams as well. Noticeable against Chicago and again tonight. Cleveland got a lot of good looks in early offense because we weren't crisp changing ends.
This team has a long way to go but at least we're a solid playoff team with youth and upcoming cap space. We are literally having our best season ever, the future is bright here and y'all are acting like the bitter fan in Major League that can't enjoy his team's success without bytching about something.
