lol i've always been warned to not venture to surrey, last time I went I spent like two hours at east hastings felt like I was in the walking dead

Ya, how expensive it was was(And being really young missing home) is why I never made it in that city. It is still blows my mind how expensive it is on Van city. shyt I always think I am getting ripped off rent wise, then I go see a couple friends in Van city..

And BC's up north does not get much cheaper either..

its those chinese investors, many of those condos and houses lie flat out empty becuase its how chinese millionaires store their money, I mean ok vancouver is expensive but the jobs dont even match what you pay etc., the average household makes like 70k, and yeah even the suburbs are pricey as hell, at least in say the gta you can go to like ajax, whitby, barrie and still get bang for your buck not in van.

I mean for even like 1,000 in the gta you can get a nice ass basement apartment with all the amenities, or even a bachelor in a good area can't find that in van.

Ah well I'll continue to visit and if i win the lotto

kind of wish i booked my vancouver trip for next week to see the grey cup



in other news raptors ratings have nearly doubled from a year ago, imagine if the rpators were just situated on one channel, instead of the tsn/tsn2/sportsnet/sportsnet 1 crap its on

Van city is so easy to torque around in IMHO. I was only there and day this year, and was able to hop on a bus and cruise to Surrey to see a shyt hole apartment I use to live in while I went to SFU.

Man I love Van City. Such a great place. Love TO more tho.

no its not (without googling)
and even if rent in toronto is more expensive, there are much more decent paying jobs in toronto than vancouver. There is a reason vancouver has a mass exodus of people moving to alberta and ontario, the job market there is garbage unless you want to wait tables or luck into a government gig.
