Hereditary stuff was fine, and it was understood that some people had "more" than others. It didn't need to be boiled down to a goddamn blood Force Test just to show that Anakin was Space Jesus

So again - the new movies completely throwing what it takes to be a Jedi and fight dark lords = ok

Prequels adding literally 4 lines about why the Skywalker family is so special = how dare you

And space jesus > whatever the fukk Rey is supposed to be.

At least Anakin was out there shooting practice in the gym

None of the prequel fights or the new Disney-era movies will ever top the Bespin Duel in the Empire Strikes Back:



... or the final battle with Vader and Palpatine in Return of the Jedi:



These two are unquestionably the two GOAT lightsaber duels in Star Wars history. None of that over-choreographed, CGI/videogame foolishness in the prequels comes anywhere close, and the Disney movie fights ignored too many of the established "rules" of the series (specifically regarding the Force and the amount of hard work it takes in order to be a Jedi to begin with).
