Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka is not impressed with Heat forward LeBron James’ defensive effort on Kevin Durant so far in the NBA Finals.

“LeBron is not a good defender,” Ibaka said about the player who received the most votes for the league’s all-defensive team, which is selected by the coaches. “He can play defense for two to three minutes but not 48 minutes.”

James was switched onto Durant after Game 1 when Durant scored 36 points and shot 12-of-20 with Shane Battier primarily covering him. Since, Durant is averaging 28.5 points on 23-of-41 shooting and Heat have won two games, taking a 2-1 series lead into Tuesday’s Game 4.

“LeBron can’t play (Durant) one-on-one,” Ibaka said. “They’re playing good defense like a team.”

that African faq talking shyt.

Ima need Bron to come out like game 6.

lol ibaka dude making durant look bad
lol at but not 48 minutes :ohhh:

so why would the Heat wilt and not the Thunder?
because in the early rounds bron single-handedly won those series. The boston series was a lot more hard fought than it needed to be, again bron was called to do the heavy lifting.Whereas wade was winging it and bosh was playing himself into shape. Now theses same individuals are having to run a track meet with these pups, the wheels are bound to fall off.You dont think those late game lapses in judgement are in part down to tiredness?
This ain't the Mavs and Spurs, there aren't any 36 year old rotation players
never said they were but lets be real here battier has been around since when? 99? wade/bosh/bron since 03 them dudes have done many miles. They have all peaked some (like battier never were) like wade are already on the downside of their career.Whereas the thunder are just kids with bolts of energy in a high octane offence. They will ride out these ugly couple of games but all they need is to win game 5 and then going back home will be a cakewallk

:wtf:

Bron is a four-time NBA All-Defensive Team first team selection & he's played great D on Durant. WTF is Ibaka talking about?

so hold up

Wade had

30/9/6
28/3/2
41/10/3

to close out Indiana.

Boston's entire game plan was to double Wade and dare Lebron to beat 'em. They paid for that strategy when Bosh came back.

In the 2 Finals wins, 24/6/5 and 25/7/7

Apart from the turnovers late, you better come up with something else.

Bron is the MVP and will win Finals MVP if/when the Heat win, but don't try to create ridiculous scenarios here where Bron is some lone horse carrying the load.

Oh, and I missed the Philly series, guess we played that one over the weekend

Good post! I think dwade has a nagging injury that is preventing him from performing well every game, but he does enough. He needs to learn to pass more to prevent turnovers. He should skip the olympics, rest and lose about 15 lbs, it will extend his career and he can play at a high level longer. I would holla at nash and get that fountain of youth, he is taking :krs:

How is Wade trying to win mvp though?

Both him and Bron's jumpers are broke @ the moment, we're fukked if they doesn't force the issue inside.

and were fukked if okc blocks inside.. he needs to Rondo this game with forced assist..

well.. we also have to pray bosh CATCHES THE DAMN PASSES :ohlawd:
