I do have kids and they could care less about a dory movie. My daughter was more excited for the fukking angry bird movie than this, hence why I'm asking

Ok cool. My son been hype about angry birds too, but he been very ready for this Dory movie since last year. Kids go nuts over Nemo even though it's been over 10 years since the first.

Its a fun film. Last 15 mins are meh tho. It tries too much to pull at heart strings and fails most of the times but is much funnier then the first one.

The Pixar sequel scored $9.2 million from Thursday night showings, already getting off to a record-breaking start as it now stands as the highest Thursday gross for an animated feature in history, swimming past Minions’ previous record of $6.2 million and more than doubling Toy Story 3’s $4 million.

So how high, exactly, will Finding Dorysoar this weekend overall? Early projections have it pegged for an opening weekend north of $100 million, and it could go as high as $120 million—an insanely impressive performance for any film, but enough to break Pixar’s previous opening weekend record of the $110.3 million netted by Toy Story 3, which as we all know went on to gross over $1 billion worldwide.

. 2ND UPDATE, 12 NOON: We’re hearing that Disney-Pixar’s Finding Dory is swimming upstream to a record opening of $130M+ for the weekend and today alone will clear $50M-$52M. That’s also an opening day record for an animated movie, outstripping Minions’ previous first day high of $46M on July 10 last year.

Not in my top Disney movies but it was cool. I liked that it was based this time in a aquarium park.

The octopus driving in the end is kind of where the movie lost me but I mean then again, the toys in Toy Story also did some pretty crazy shyt so I can't be too hard on that part.
