Earlier this year I went into get some vaccinations done at a pharmacy for my job and the nurse giving my shots was Black. We were chopping it up and she asked me if I had kids, I said no and she gave me a look like . Literally told me to my face that I'm a unicorn. Had me like Mind you I'm 28 and living in Brooklyn.

If I'm at the point where I see no Black women with kids my age, I'm either going younger or going outside my race. fukk that mixed family, raising another man's kid bullshyt. Only circumstance where I'm considering that is if I get to my late 30s and my options are limited.

nikkas must not get out much all over the country..

Now when I visit my family in the DMV, my chances are high to run into a woman OVER 26 without kids….

However when i go to Cleveland, Detroit, Louisiana almost 8 out of 10 of sisters over 26 got kids…even the professional ones, because usually they end up having the kid young and then realized Tyrone and Eddie isnt going to be around so they go onto school and become now professional workers…

It’s getting worse every year since the 90s

I was gone say having lived in DMV being born and raised in Cleveland and going to school near Michigan yeah it’s two totally different worlds, a lot of the women in the DMV are career first then focus on kids. While even the college educated women I went to school with in Ohio a bunch of them want kids in the early 20s.
