Reading the book now, just saw the trailer in "A Walk Among The Tombstones' the other night., I didn't really like 'Girl With Dragon', but Fincher is pretty much a must watch, regardless of the movie, though I never saw 'Button', however Fincher in his zone of dark, twisty, crime thriller…first night.

This dude is so hit and miss

Zodiac, fight club, seven :banderas: 3 of my favorite movies

Panic room, benjamin button, dragon tattoo :scusthov:

Social network :ehh:

You didn't like the Dragon tattoo?:dwillhuh: I thought it was good, but I watched the Swedish version and read the book. So this whole US remake of it was :manny: to me. I did think Fincher did a good job though.

This movie looks amazing. :wow:

One of biggest movie regrets is not seeing Zodiac in the theaters. :mjcry:

3/4 done with this book….It will be a tough adaptation, with so much of the story relayed through diaries, but I think it will at least be a very interesting, well acted, and shot movie, I'll be there first day. 'Panic Room' is dope as fukk, it's a little more formulaic the his other work, but it's so well crafted, and acted. I remember loving that movie when I saw it theaters in 2002.

There are certain scenes in that movie that are almost Hitchcockian, like when the couple is in the woods.
I bet it was wonderful. :mjcry:

I really liked the book, it's not a traditional mystery in some ways, even when the solution is revealed, your fascination isn't lost, you only want to keep reading. I think the movie may be more enjoyable though, or at least I think it won't suffer in the hands of Fincher and Affleck, who is perfect for the role. It says a lot of Fincher and the novel, that I am eager to see the movie, having only finished the book less then a week ago.
