This thread isn't about Final Fantasy XIII. This is a series with a rich history of not putting women in the lane they've been placed in this game which makes it stand out even more. We went from Ashe Dalmasca basically being the main character of XII and Lightning being the main character of the XIII series to a pin-up model with a bad accent working on your car as fan service and an idiot leaping out of planes. The female characters in this game are terrible from what's been shown of them. it's like some weird shounen fantasy where women only exist to serve young boy's fantasies and outside of that aren't real people.

I asked was that they best they could do when it comes to a pin-up model servicing your car that exist for fan service and damsels in distress like Luna? There aren't any playable female characters in the game either.

The criticism this game is getting is very valid. Through this whole series they've never really placed women in the role they're putting them in for this game. The attitude they're taking towards women in this game is very unusual.

I'm a Final Fantasy troll though. It's always trolling when people make valid points you don't wanna hear and can't argue against about something you like. I'm a bigger fan of this series than most of the posters here.

Can't believe we are only 5 weeks away. This has been a journey brehs. Watched that first Versus trailer when I was a freshman in high school. Even the transition into XV was 3+ years ago. Was still in college at the time. It's finally almost here ..

And not only that.. the previews for this game have all been very good. Please just let us get another FF classic. We've been waiting for 15 years
