i'm buying first day as i have it pre-ordered but the game play at e3 looked clunky and a little stiff. hopefully that's not the case when i get my hands on it.

Other than the dialog which is bad in all these E3 demos.
What was so bad to Yall? Seems it's taking the crazy cinematic fights we are used to in a FF game and giving us the control. Seems like you are playing through that final fantasy 7 movie that came out.

i like the concepts and ideas of the battle system, but the movement is my biggest concern. i just hate when characters are stiff and hard to turn at times like metal gear or witcher 3 is. i can imagine this getting annoying during a battle, but this was a 3 minute demo so maybe i'm wrong and need to feel it for myself. i like the graphics and really like the animation tho.
Dialogue is always cheesy in these Japanese games. We just didn't realize it till we got voice actorsHoly shyt the demo was so awful. i still have hope for the game but who thought showing that shyt was OK. and that dialogue

why single me out?? I'm not the only one disappointed.
Even before the footage today, i was sour on the game after playing through the Platinum demo.
Battle system feels clunky, personally. Like, watching dude play today, i can completely understand someone having issues in a battle. Especially once you start fighting larger foes.

i didn't like the platinum boss fight at all. I feel like it's going to get tedious. Feels Devil May Cryish, and I'm sick of those games. At least P5 kept it just right. what's wrong with ATB battle systems?
