Final Fantasy 13 didn't have enough flash. Not enough summons not enough flashy spells or attacks. That's why it wasn't received well.

It's easy to bash p5 when you've never given the series a chance. But p4 golden was an amazing game with a interesting story, and the story is the most important part of a jrpg. Final fantasy games have been flops with the story since ff10.

Ff11 story had potential but it was really hard to follow and the characters made it boring.

Matter fact, final fantasy have been flops with the characters since FF10 also.

Graphics aside, I feel like square is the one with something to prove here. I'm pretty certain P5 will be good, not so much Final fantasy 15.
