Bruh, I swear I do this in every RPG game ever.

I'm doing the sword behind the waterfall dungeon and I'm wondering "why the fukk is everything so damn hard to kill?!?!"

Maybe if I would've upgraded my ascension techniques with all the AP I had and bothered seeing that I was using doo doo butter weapons without knowing I had much better weapons in my inventory.

Least I finished the dungeon with all my shyt gear.

Yeah I did the same. Kept going doing side stuff without furthering the main mission which has access to better weapon vendors, was like level 16 having trouble with level 10s.

These side quests and monster hunting gives you great rewards, i unlocked the ability to customize my whip

Usually my crew is lively when we ride through these streets, but not today. We ran into 3 Iron Giants and started to take them on and then then dropped the swords on us. Knocked out Ignis, Prompto and Gladiolus.

I had to bounce and got back in the car. I turned on the radio hoping to hear some news updates, Fisherman's Horizon was the only thing to greet us. I've never felt so defeated in a video game before.

So I just started tonight.

Are hunts worth putting a lot of time into? what about side quests?

What weapons y'all rocking?

I just put a couple hours in and I'm really enjoying it so far

I made it to Chapter 14

Brehs CH13 is BRUTAL. I mean that in many ways. Without spoiling anything I'll say you get Hideo Kojima'd into a shytshow for a long ass time, and I really mean that, overstayed its welcome.
Plus there may be a boss fight thats wayyyy tougher than anything you have previously faced
Be sure to walk into CH13 with 99 elixirs, at least 20 phoenix downs, mad potions, and save them mega potions.

But still liking the story. You do get some ridiculous curve balls but if you played FF you know theres a lot of bullshyt near the end of your journey. I do have some slight probs in regards to learning more about certain characters

as they just get relegated to a few lines of text from an NPC, but we'll see, I'd hope some of the DLC or if theres postgame that it covers the stuff I wanna see covered.

I'll see tonite or whenever I get to it, CH14 is the end....I think im ready for that shyt

i got 50k playboy and 40k gill i aint going to chapter 4 till i hit 100k and find the best exp multiplier spot

you dont get that shyt until ch 9.

It's fun but not my forte. I tolerated ffx alot better when I was a kid.

Controls arent really something Im in love with. I might give it another chance after I get done this semester.

Just concentrate on the main story. Its pretty entertaining.
